Interests

I study the contribution of basic learning processes, such as habit formation, to psychiatric disease, in particular obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I use behavioural experiments, psychophysiology and neuroimaging techniques to understand the mechanisms through which psychiatric diseases develop with a view to improving treatment efficacy.
